At the Professional Truckers Welfare Association (PTWA), we believe in the strength of solidarity and the power of community among those who keep our roads moving and our economy running. PTWA was established with one clear purpose: to stand together as professional truck drivers, united in support, compassion, and care for one another. Our Purpose PTWA exists to:
- Unite professional truck drivers across the region in a spirit of brotherhood, unity, and mutual respect
- Provide welfare support to members during times of illness, emergencies, or in the unfortunate event of death—whether it affects the member or their close family
- Promote a culture of solidarity, compassion, and collective action within the trucking community
- Support the families of deceased members with both financial assistance and moral encouragement
- Build and maintain a sustainable welfare fund
